Your events are yours.

In short: Days Left does not collect, store or share any of your data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server. Everything you put in the app stays on your device.
What the app stores, and where
The events you create (title, date, note, icon, color, tags, repeat and reminder settings) and your preferences (theme, accent color, default reminder time) are saved in the app’s private storage on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
If you add a home screen widget, the app shares a short summary of your upcoming events with that widget so it can display them. This happens on your device only.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled locally by your phone’s operating system. No push notification service or server is involved. The app asks for permission to show notifications, and you can turn this off at any time in the app or in your phone’s settings. On Android the app also restores your scheduled reminders after the phone restarts.
Backups
You can export your events as a backup file. The app creates the file and hands it to your phone’s share sheet, and you decide where it goes. Importing reads a file you choose. We never see these files.
Sharing a countdown
When you share an event, the app passes a line of text (for example, “Trip to Japan, 57 days to go”) to your phone’s share sheet. Nothing is sent unless you choose where to send it.
What we don’t do
- No accounts or sign-in
- No analytics, crash reporting or tracking of any kind
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers
- No selling or sharing of data, because we have none
- The app does not need an internet connection to work
Children
Days Left is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Delete events in the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything it stored. Backup files you exported are yours to keep or delete.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
